Half Life fans can start celebrating as Half Life 3 is finally confirmed to be in production. However, it is important to note that the confirmation didn’t come directly from Valve. Instead, it came from a leak.
The leak occurred at Steam after the PC gaming software got updated by Valve. The update basically saw the addition of App 323900, which is awkwardly paired to Half Life 3’s logo.
Without a doubt, this is the biggest leak ever. This is because both the Half Life series and Steam are produced by Valve. With the Half Life 3 logo coming from Steam, it strongly suggests that Valve is developing the title in secret.
Of course, the leak has been removed from Steam but the damage has already been done. Now, all that is left is for Valve to officially announce on Half Life 3 and this is expected to happen at E3.
