Rumours are rife in claiming that Half Life 3 is going to get announced on E3 this year and the game is going to get developed by a third-party company instead of Valve. Well, these rumours are best taken with a grain of salt as they are unlikely to come true.
Half Life 3 is one of the most anticipated tiles in the gaming industry for the past decade now and it is a hallmark franchise from Valve. Besides, the game developer has the tendency to release a major gaming title only when they deem it to be perfect. Thus, this partly explains the long wait for an official word on Half Life 3.
