When Apple reveals a new version of iOS the whole community goes crazy and wants to install it straight away. Typically jailbreakers are on the case when it comes to jailbreaking, however they haven’t been able to jailbreak the new OS up to now.
This means that many people updated their handsets and could not revert back. This has now changed and you can revert if you have iTunes and you want to go from iOS 7.1 back to iOS 7.
All you need to do is follow the steps which are outlined below.
1: Connect your handset (iPhone 4,4S,5,5s,5c) to the computer and open the latest version of iTunes.
2: Boot the device into DFU mode by holding the Power and Home button at the same time for roughly 10 seconds. Once you have done that let go of the Power button and iTunes will put the device into recovery mode.
3: On your keyboard, press down the shift key and choose restore on iTunes. (Alt/Option key for Mac).
4: Choose the files that you previously downloaded and the installation should begin and finish correctly.
At the moment this is the only way that those who have installed the jailbreak can go back to iOS 7 after installing iOS 7.1.
