Lately, there have been many hints on GTA 5 coming to both the Xbox One and PS4. Many online retailers, particularly in Europe, has been putting up GTA 5 for the next-gen consoles on their respective websites with some going as far as taking in paid pre-orders.
Portuguese online retailer, Worten, is the company that is doing so. The retailer has been collecting money for the PS4 version of GTA 5. Of course, gamers around the world are scrutinized by this. As such, many have been questioning Worten’s credibility. The company responded by assuring that they will sell the game in question.
The trend soon got picked up by Czech website’s Supergamer. This gaming website revealed that both the net-gen console will be getting GTA 5 in June 13.
It is unlikely for this to be just a trend. There is definitely something going on. This was made obvious after Amazon Germany listed GTA 5 for the next-gen consoles late last year but it got taken down soon after.
There has yet to be any official announcement from Rockstar on the matter. Regardless of all the clues lying around, gamers on these platforms shouldn’t get too excited and take this with a pinch of salt.
As for the PC gamers, it is still question mark on GTA 5’s development for the modding platform. While the attention might be on the net-gen consoles, Rockstar might just pull off a stunner and release the PC GTA 5 first.
