GTA 5 was released two years ago on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and now that it is available on the next-gen consoles, Rockstar has revealed some bitter news for players on the old console. The game developer confirms that future DLCs for GTA 5 will only be for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platform.
Rockstar elaborated by claiming that some of the future DLCs are simply not compatible with GTA 5 on the older generation consoles due to their technical limitations. Such a statement clearly upsets the GTA 5 community since they have been anticipating a major content update for so long now.
Then again, Rockstar assured GTA 5 players on the Xbox 360 and PS3 that they will be releasing the highly anticipated heist DLC soon before ceasing any future updates for the game.
For players that are saddened by this, it seems that the only way out is through upgrading to the Xbox One, PS4 or PC. Then again, that will also mean the players will have to fork out a lot of money to purchase another copy of GTA 5.
