GTA 5, particularly the one that is on the Xbox 360 and PS3, is no longer being supported by Rockstar. This is because the older-gen consoles are not mechanically fit enough to handle any more content updates for GTA 5.
This has already been forewarned by Rockstar earlier this year when the game developer said that they will be pulling the plug on the Xbox 360 and PS3’s version of GTA 5. However, the game developer only aims to do so once they have launched the Heist DLC.
Well, the Heist DLC is already here and this means that support for GTA 5 on the older-gen console has ended. If you are among the affected players on the old gaming machines, it is best for you to not wait for an update for GTA 5. Instead, you should upgrade to the next-gen version of the game.
