One of the things that people were concern about when Google first announce their new GooglePixel and Google Pixel XL smartphone was that its battery life would be less than impressive just like the last few Nexus model. However, it looks like Google have already got it all figured out.
We know that the Google Pixel will be coming in with a 2770mAh battery pack while the Google Pixel XL will be coming in with a 3450mAh battery. According to some of the states given by Google, the Google Pixel should be able to offer about 456hours of standby time, 26 hours of talk time, 13hours of internet use time and 13houts of video playback time which is a step up from the Nexus 5X that was only able to offer about 420hours of Standby time, 20 hours of talk time, 9 hours of internet use time as well as 10 hours of video playback.
The Pixel XL, on the other hand, will offer about 552hours of standby time, 32hours of talk time, 14hours of internet use time and 14hours of video playback time. Compared that to the Nexus 6P which offers about 440hours of standby time, 23hours of talk time, 10 hours of internet use time and 10 hours of video playback and we clearly have a winner here.
However, some people are saying that these numbers won’t be reflected in real life because the Android Nougat seems to be more draining that the previous Marshmallow. Of course, the only way to find out is to wait for the devices to reach our hands
