Both the Google Nexus 6 and the OnePlus One are two of the best Android-operated smartphones in the market today but which of them is better? Today, we are going to explore more on this through comparing both device and the result can be found at the bottom of the page.
Starting with the display, the Nexus 6 is the larger of the two as it comes with a bigger 5.96” screen that runs on native QHD display. This also means that the Nexus 6 is also sharper as the OnePlus One 5.5” screen can only run on 1080p max.
In terms of processors, the Nexus 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset that is clocked at 2.7GHz and paired to 3GB of RAM. Clearly, this is better and more updated than the Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM to offer.
Both devices are equipped with the same 13MP rear camera but it seems that the OnePlus One is able to take crispier pictures. Even the front facing camera on the OnePlus One is larger to that of the Nexus 6 as it measures at 5MP while the latter only measures at 2.1MP.
To complete the package, the Nexus 6 has a larger 3220mAH battery while the OnePlus One only has the 3100mAh power pack.
Judging from the specs comparison above, it is pretty clear cut that the Nexus 6 is a lot more practical than the OnePlus One. Of course, it is worth considering that the Nexus 6 retails at $900 while the OnePlus One 16GB retails at $299.
