Last November saw the arrival of the Android 5.0 Lollipop which is made to offer a thoroughly engaging smartphone and tablet experience.
However, with every new Android OS, there are bound to be bugs and errors which require fixing. The Android 5.0 is no different, thus, explaining why Google had just launched the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop patch update for the Nexus 6 and 5 smartphones.
The update is critical for the aforementioned devices as it fixes many issues from the initial Android 5.0 Lollipop. Among them is with the connectivity problems where users are unable to connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Of course, there are various other fixes that comes with the Android 5.0.1 update.
While it all sounds great, the Android 5.0.1 patch also comes with its own set of glitches too. Then again, it is still a positive update since it reduces the issues drastically. The newer problems are entirely minor and can be addressed with a future patch.
With that being said, Nexus 5 and 6 users shouldn’t hold back and apply the firmware update immediately. The moment the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop is installed on the smartphones, users will get a better and more fluid experience.
