Owners of the LG Nexus 4 knew that the day would come but when they officially found out that they were not getting updated to Marshmallow it was still a sad day. Now they have heard that ROM developers are offering Marshmallow to the Nexus 4 and this is great news.
Anyone who wants to update the Google Nexus 4 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be happy to hear that there are two ROMs you can choose from.
The first ROM comes from Dmitry Grinberg and the other ROM is from Aldrin Holmes. Both of them will install Android 6.0 Marshmallow onto the Google Nexus 4.
If you want to go ahead and install the ROM onto your handset you should make a backup of the data before installing and then follow the guide set out below.
Start by transferring the TWRP file to the device and update/install it. Turn off the device and switch it on to Recovery Mode ( Volume up + Volume Down + Power Button). Once the TWP UI loads up, choose Wipe > Factory Reset. Next Transfer one of the ROMs-GApps into the device and reboot to enter Recovery mode again.
You should go and find the ROM and then you can install it and then go ahead and install GApps and then reboot the handsets for the final time.
