In 2013, we witnessed the dethroning of Apple in the tablet industry. The iPads has been dominating the market but has lost its grip of the market as Android tablets became the more wanted device.
As such, there is plenty of excitement for the Google Nexus 10 2 which was anticipated since last year. However, the slate failed to make an entry into the market sparking speculations that the device maker is still undecided.
The obvious candidate is certainly Samsung as the Korean tech-giant is the only company that is capable of shaking Apple’s firm ground. On top of that, it was Samsung that developed the first Google Nexus 10.
On the other hand, word has it that HTC is the company that will take the helm in the Nexus 10 2’s development. The Taiwanese company has a poor record in the tablet industry and it could be that they wish to recover from the dark past by making what possibly is the greatest tablet in the future.
At the moment, it is still unclear on which company will be responsible for the Nexus 10 2. To the consumers, it won’t matter much as all they want is for the device to materialize and fulfil its role as the best tablet yet.
