Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5, will make its debut at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, from 24th February to 27th February. At least that was how it was reported over at AndroidSAS.
While the Samsung Galaxy S5 looks and specifications are still a mystery to the world, there have been clues suggesting the phone will feature an eye-scanning unlocking function.
The eye scanner is a sensor that will provide users with more security on their phone, challenging the thumbprint scanner on both HTC and Apple’s devices. It is always uplifting to hear some new tech being made available to the consumers. However, there is still nothing of yet to be revealed on the retina scanner for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
While it looks like Samsung is going to take a leap into giving its customers more, we still have to remember that the above mentioned is just speculations, nothing concrete. Until more information gets rolled out, take this one with a pinch of salt.
