After all, the complaints about the MyFord Touch, we would be surprised if Ford continues to offer the Microsoft build infotainment system. The software was glitchy, difficult to use and slow.
Luckily for all of us, Ford has decided to replace the MyFord Touch with the new Sync 3 build by Blackberry and we couldn’t be happier. The Sync 3 infotainment system was build using the QNX system but Blackberry.
The first thing we all noticed was how much faster the new infotainment system is now and unlike the MyFord Touch, this one was actually easy to understand and use. Everything just seems to be working like it is supposed to. However, there is still some room for improvement.
They can start by working on the design of the infotainment system. It is functional but it would be nice if they jazz it up a little. We are also the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support will arrive sooner for the new Sync 3.
