Far Cry 4 is going to be more than just a game for the Sony PS4. The upcoming fourth sequel will be the specimen to test out a future feature that is in the plans by the console manufacturer.
Just like how it was revealed on E3 yesterday, Sony revealed that the PS4 version of Far Cry 4 will allow players to invite their friends to play co-op sections, even if they don’t own a copy of the game.
This is a new form of business technique from Sony to get players exposed to more and more titles. Of course, the best result would be with the friend, liking the game and purchasing it immediately. It is a win-win situation for both game developers and players.
SCEE president, Jim Ryan, revealed that if the feature surpassed expectations, it will definitely be a permanent feature for Sony’s gaming consoles. The lad added that Ubisoft is offering full support for the feature.
While that may sound exciting, gamers have no idea to when Far Cry 4 will make its debut. Regardless, it is one title that gamers should forward to.
