Far Cry 4 was one of the biggest games shown off on E3′s “day zero” press events, and it’s a small wonder – it’s even prettier than the last game in the series, and it looks like it’s added even more cool toys without sacrificing the excellent writing and voice acting that helped make the last game so memorable.
With that in mind, take a look at the above trailer and keep an eye out for a few cool new features, namely: a grappling hook that lets you scale cliffs, a wingsuit that’s apparently available for more than just scripted sequences, the ability to invite friends into the action, and rampaging elephants.
As far as real gaming news goes, this isn’t by any means a breakthrough, unless you consider that the friends you invite don’t even have to own a copy of the game. That’s not just good news for players, that’s an amazing business move that should help Ubisoft mobilize its fan base to sell more copies.
