The hopeful Fallout fans are in for some bad news. If the latest set of rumours on Fallout 4 is right, then it seems that the game won’t be coming out at all.
The word is that Bethesda has got its plans to turn Fallout 4 into an MMORPG obstructed, thus, resulting in the game developer axing the franchise completely. It is also said that Bethesda is angered over the fact that they can’t create Fallout 4 as and how they please, even after acquiring full rights for the series.
The villain in the rumours is Fallout’s original creator, Interplay Entertainment. Apparently, they have been the one restricting Bethesda in Fallout 4’s development.
For some of the fans, this seems like great news as they dislike the idea of seeing Fallout 4 being turned into an online multiplayer game. The Fallout series has always been great as a single player title and forcing Fallout 4 into a MMORPG is simply a crime.
Then again, the above is merely based on rumours so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. Fallout has always been among Bethesda’s most profitable franchise and there is no way for the game developer to give up on Fallout 4 that easily.
