Bethesda’s community manager, Matt Grandstaff, became the centre of a buzz earlier today when he appeared in a gaming forum to share that Fallout 4 is not coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3.
The lad explained that the things that are coming to Fallout 4 will not work on the older-gen consoles. In other words, the Xbox 360 and PS3 won’t be able to support Fallout 4.
Heck, even Todd Howard agreed on this in a recent interview. The designer from Bethesda revealed that the new-gen consoles, Xbox One and PS4, both have increased memory and this is important for Fallout 4.
With better technologies, Fallout 4 will be able to pre-load a location quickly and efficiently. This also confirms that Fallout 4 will have fewer loading screens.
It is also worth noting that Bethesda won’t be attempting paid mods again. The community manager has already revealed that it was a mistake back in Fallout 3 and it won’t be repeated.
