It is a pity that most speculations, rumours and leaks surrounding the highly anticipated Fallout 4 game are fakes. We’ve seen how far hoaxers can go to fool the Fallout community with the Survivor2299 website and it doesn’t seem to stop anytime soon.
The latest is with a leak E3 memo, printed by Bethesda for its employees. The supposedly ‘leaked’ picture of the memo revealed that Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls won’t be announced or unveiled during the mega-gaming event, E3.
Employees were asked to keep certain terms a secret. This includes Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Project Greenheart, Nuka World and Boston Project. The in-house letter came with a heading where one should be able to notice Bethesda’s logo, accompanied by Zenimax Media.
As great as it may sound, the letter should be viewed with scrutiny. For starters, every printed media can be faked nowadays. On top of that, the letter specifically quoted Boston which is something that the fans have been buzzing. There is no chance that the fan-made term, Boston Project, gets used by Bethesda.
