It is no secret that Bethesda has been producing the Fallout series closely to the Elder Scrolls series. If the trend is to continue with Fallout 4, then there shouldn’t be high expectations for the game since it is going to be so much like Skyrim.
Fallout fans need to understand that Elder Scrolls Oblivion was so awesome that Skyrim failed to come out as something better. The latter ended up as just a decent game overall.
With that being said, there is a possibility of for Fallout 4 to exhibit something similar. Both Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are simply too good that there is no way for Bethesda to better their offerings in Fallout 4. Much like Skyrim, Fallout 4 will still be a fun game to play indefinitely.
Of course, this is only for the game’s plot. When it comes to the gaming features, there is no doubt that Skyrim is better than Oblivion. The same is expected when Fallout 4 comes out with better gaming features than Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.
In conclusion, Fallout 4 is expected to suffer with a lacklustre main campaign that also offers a gimmick which makes players not want to complete the main quest line. Then again, there is no point to having this discussion since Fallout 4 is still an unconfirmed subject.
