Bethesda can remain secretive all they want but there is no doubt that Fallout 4 will get released eventually. Even so, I don’t think that the game is going to be as exciting as previous Fallout titles.
This is despite of the fact that Fallout 4 will be the first title in the entire Fallout franchise to debut on the latest gaming hardwares and consoles, like the Xbox One and PS4. While this might mean that Fallout 4 will be in Full HD when played, I am not convinced that it is going to be great.
Instead, I expect Fallout 4 to be decent at best. This cannot be helped as there seems to be no way for Bethesda to come up with anything better than Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas. This is evident if fans are to look at the Elder Scrolls franchise. Elder Scrolls Oblivion came out with an exciting plot and adventure. Its successor, Skyrim, failed to offer something similar and it settled for decent.
If the pattern is to follow, Fallout 4 too won’t be as exciting as Fallout 3. Make no mistake about it Fallout 4 will be nice indefinitely but not immersive or exceptional. Of course, I am hoping for Bethesda to prove me and the entire Fallout community wrong.
