Fallout is one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world and throughout the series, there is no way for players to barter trade their goods for another item. This will have to change in the upcoming Fallout 4 if Bethesda wants to make the highly anticipated title more realistic than before.
After all, many players admittedly have found themselves in a situation where they are short of caps and it prevents them from proceeding with purchases. To make matters worse, the seller is also out of caps so there is no way to sell the junks in the inventory.
The solution is simple. The players should be able to pay as much as possible for the item they are purchasing and any shortages will be filled with the other items from the players’ inventory.
A simple way to describe Fallout’s economy system is the word rigid. Let’s just hope Bethesda changes this in Fallout 4 by applying a more fluid economic model.
