Elder Scrolls Online is probably the biggest and the best MMO RPG game around and while it is already playable on the PC, those waiting for the Xbox One and PS4 version of the game are in for some bad news.
Unfortunately, Bethesda confirmed that Elder Scrolls Online for the next-gen consoles won’t be coming this month. Instead, it will be making its debut in December this year. The game developer revealed that some unique problems have surfaced in regards to Elder Scrolls Online which has led to a six month delay.
One particular issue is with the system integration. Each platform has a unique manufacturer’s network and it is time consuming to get Elder Scrolls Online tuned correctly.
It isn’t all that bad for the fans as Bethesda revealed that they will compensate for this disappointment. Players can start playing Elder Scrolls Online on the PC first before transferring their saved files to the console versions.
On top of that, getting the console version of Elder Scrolls Online will come with a discount for players who are already on the PC. Players will just have to pay the discounted price of $20/€14.99/£12.99/AU$20.
All in all, it is great of Bethesda to be sensitive towards the fans. Elder Scrolls Online is a massive title and the delay will surely be a loss. Well, at least there are alternatives made available for the fans.
