Dragon Age 3 is currently in development and the game will be the first AAA RPG title to debut on the next-gen consoles, the Xbox One and PS4. This upcoming title from Bioware has been revealed to run on a much upgraded game engine which opens the doors to plenty of new possibilities.
For a start, Bioware revealed that Dragon Age 3 will look to offer a bigger landmass for players to explore. In addition to that, tactical combat will also experience a massive upgrade. This could only mean one thing and that is the fact that combat in Dragon Age 3 will be nothing like its predecessors.
It is believed that there will be more ways to approach and fight off any enemies inside the game. Previous Dragon Age titles adopt that Star Wars Knight of The Old Republic style of combat. While it might be awesome, it is not that impressive considering that Dragon Age 3 will run on Frostbite 3.
At the moment, it is unknown on what sort of improvement will come to the combat feature. No matter how it will be, fans need not worry as the traditional gameplay will be preserved. Other notable changes coming to Dragon Age 3 are more playable races and the ability to ride on horses.
Even Mass Effect 4 looks to follow Dragon Age 3 footsteps. In the latest tweet from Bioware’s Aaryn Flynn, it was revealed that Mass Effect 4 will be built on the latest Frostbite 3 as well and the game will be just as large as Dragon Age 3.
