Dragon Age 3 Sales Banned, GTA 5 Surprisingly Not

If you are a gamer from India, we’re afraid we’ve got some bad news for you. It appears that the highly anticipated RPG game, Dragon Age 3 (Inquisition), won’t be selling in India due to a breach in country’s obscenity laws.

It is no secret that the upcoming third sequel will come with partial nudity and vulgarities in its speech but to see it banned is a huge surprise. After all, there are other well-known titles that offer something similar and got away with it.

We are referring to GTA 5 that comes with plenty of nudity, profanities used on every dialogue and violence beyond our wildest imagination. This is shocking on how something that is much more explicit can get released while Dragon Age 3 hit the roadblock.

This leads us into thinking that India is preventing the game from entering the country due to other reasons. Unless you’ve heard, the upcoming game actually contains same-gender sexual relations. This is something not found in GTA 5 and could be the sole reason why India banned the title.

Despite that fact, EA representative rubbishes such thinking claiming that same-sex romance and gay characters were “irrelevant” to this specific issue. Regardless, Indian gamers that have pre-ordered Dragon Age 3 will be given a full refund.
