With all the gore and violence we saw in the trailer, we were looking forward to seeing what kind of rating the game will be getting from ESRB and not surprising;y, the game was rated Mature for ESRB.
ESRB explains that the Mature rating was given due to the gore, violence as well as language that the game has. If you have seen the trailer, you will agree that it is gory with blood and body parts flying all over the place.
It was also pointed of that the dialogue in the game contained words like “F**k”. The violence it game display if shoving the creatures heart into its mouth after ripping it out also help give it the Mature rating.
The new highly anticipated Doom game can be pre-ordered now. It will be released on the 13th of May for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
