If you are a fan of the Fallout series, then you are in for some bad news. The latest rumours are indicating that Fallout 4 is cancelled from production and it is due to some major disagreement between Bethesda and the franchise original creator, Interplay Entertainment.
In detail, Bethesda is unhappy when they saw their move to turn Fallout 4 into a massive MMORPG title got blocked by Interplay Entertainment. To add salt to the wound, Bethesda has already purchased full rights for Fallout but they can’t do as they please with it.
As such, a frustrated Bethesda made it known that enough is enough thus, dropping Fallout 4’s development entirely.
Of course, the above is merely based on rumours and they are best taken with a pinch of salt. Fallout is indeed one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world and it is impossible to see Bethesda not launching Fallout 4 at all.
