We know that the next Dead Island sequel will not be arriving that soon as the developer has already made it clear that the game is still being developed but it will be delayed.
While Sumo Digital has just only gotten their hands on the game, the development of the sequel has started a few years ago which means there should be a lot done already. So why does it feel like there is still a long way more to go?
Well, there are new reports suggesting that the reason why Sumo Digital needed more time with the game is because they decided to dump everything that has been done and start from scratch. That means new story as well as new mechanics for Dead Island 2.
If that is true, be prepared for a very long wait. In fact, we are no longer sure if the game will even make it out next year. What do you think?
