DayZ Standalone Review: One Word… Attractive

The game starts with the protagonist waking up on the beach with his clothes and a flashlight with a D-cell battery. Looking at the surroundings, there are many cabins scattered around the beach. I went inside all of them and managed to loot a pair of cargo pants and an axe to defend myself. Of course, there is no on around.

Then a faint voice was heard screaming from the outside of the cabin and claims he is unarmed. This is the best part of DayZ as it offers the ultimate post-apocalyptic experience. The NPC might claim that he is unarmed but there is a chance for him to be lying.

To avoid any tussle, I ran as far as I could. The land mass is humungous. It is basically twice the size of GTA 5. The best part begins in Chernarus city.

Then again, I don’t wish to spoil it for you. The regrettable part is that DayZ Standalone will be released in years from now. It is going to be a long and painful wait for me.

Nevertheless, you can expect DayZ Standalone to offer a highly detailed graphics. However, the map is too huge which makes the density of things to an extreme low. Every element has to be considered in the game which includes wind speed and such. There are also a lot of puzzles in the storyline.

All in all, DayZ Standalone is in contention to be the biggest game when it gets released. I can’t wait for that day to come.
