As expected, Cyberpunk 2077 did not make an appearance at E3 2016 this year. Based on what we know about the game right now, it has been estimated that we will only be seeing the game in a few years time.
Earlier this year, Gamereactor reported that the new CD Projekt Red game, Cyberpunk 2077 could be arriving later this year. As much as we would like that to be true, we also feel that it was highly impossible that the game would be ready by then.
CD Projekt Red has already made it clear that this new game will be a lot bigger than The Witcher 3. While they did add that they are better at creating large size game now, they still need time to developed the game.
Based on the amount they needed to develop The Witcher 3, we would be extremely lucky if we get to see the game next year. Luckily for us, there seems to be more than enough game announced at E3 2016 to keep us busy while we wait for Cyberpunk 2077.
