Call of Duty: Ghosts is nothing more than just a joke said iDigitalTimes. Reviewers and critics had been rating the Call of Duty: Ghosts a 6. But when you look at the game, you might think that these parties had been paid to give these positive reviews. These number were definitely fake.
On PC metacritic review, the COD: Ghosts was only able to land a 1.7 rating after a 1077 reviews. This is really saddening given the fact that COD: Ghost was released one of the gaming giants and the previous success of the COD game series. It is clear that the COD: Ghost had been made from COD modern warfare. You can see this from a YouTube video on how similar the two games are. Yeah, people might say “it is just a short clip and the rest of the game was not so bad” but from the clip itself you can see what kind of job Infinity Ward and Activision had done with the COD: Ghosts.
It seems like all Infinity Ward did with the game was just ramping up the graphics and add up a new title. For a job like this, it seems like Activision might not deserve the support from their fans anyway. You can just copy paste an old game, ramp up the graphics, add in a few extras, put a new title on it and sell it a s a full version of a new game.
COD: Ghosts was rumoured to might be able to break GTA 5’s records and before it was released, retailers had ordered $1 billion worth of COD: Ghosts. However, due to the disappointment the game brought, most of the orders had been sitting on the retailer’s shelves. Unless Activision and Infinity Ward would actually program the real new COD game for its next franchise, the COD game series can be considered dead.
