It has been said that the next COD game could be a Black Ops sequel, but at the moment nothing is for sure.
Sledgehammer Games are said to be working with Activision and they were the ones behind the series of Modern Warfare series. Sledgehammer is working on the game and this means that it could become the next game in the COD franchise.
There are some who think that COD has been going downhill and one of the reasons behind this was that Ghosts had failed to provide players with the next gen experience that they thought they were going to get, along with this it was said that gameplay was repetitive, something that is now getting worse with each game. Gamers are now hoping that Activision realise this and that something will be done about it when they release the next game.
Ghosts did end on a cliff hanger and this could give us a hint that we could see a sequel at some point in the future.
