Chevy Silverado, Avalanche & Colorado Facelift Due In 9 Months

General Motors Incorporated have made it clear that it will only launch the next-gen Chevy pick-up trucks only in 2019. While that may be a long way from now, the American carmaker assured fans that the Silverado, Avalanche and Colorado will be getting a facelift instead.

The sudden decision was made after Ford launched the F-150, which has been remarkable in every way. Blue Oval representative, Mike Levine, explained that the company is aiming to produce pick-up trucks that are both monstrous and environmental friendly.

As great as the F-150 may be, Mike remained unmoved and claims that they are still working to improve the vehicle in every way possible.

On the other hand, the Silverado, Avalanche and Colorado will all be blessed with a new engine and transmission in this upcoming facelift. Of course, the biggest prize of them all is the 10-speed autobox, which will only be unveiled in 2018.
