Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night developers have officially announced that the game will be pushed back although nobody seems to be too shocked.
Since they have already passed their first set of goal, they have added new goals and have even surpassed those. Now that they have so much more to do with the game, it was highly unlikely that they were going to complete it within the estimated time.
Fans were already speculating that the game would be delayed and sure enough it was. The demo was obviously still very rough and it was clear that the developers still have a lot more work to do.
Honestly, the fans do not seem too affected by the delay announcement as most of them would rather wait a little longer than get a game that ends up being a huge disappointment.
Instead of a 2017 release window, the game has now been pushed back to 2018.
