The first major rumour is with the iPhone 6’s release date. Over the years, Apple has been releasing their iPhones in September and rumours are claiming that Apple is looking to change that. Most of them hint on a July release for the iPhone 6. We feel that it is unlikely as July is too early. Apple is a company of tradition and it will definitely maintain its ‘September release policy’.
Then there is the iOS 8. Just recently, Apple rolled out the iOS 7.1 and it is expected to be the last patch update for the iOS 7. Rumours are claiming that the iOS 8 will be launched together with the iPhone 6. After all, this upcoming device is expected to have many features that the iOS 7.1 can’t handle without being updated.
Finally is with the screen size. This is the loudest subject of them all. It seems that all rumours are claiming that two devices will be coming for a release. The iPhone 6 will arrive with a 4.7inch screen and 5.5inch variant. It seems that Apple is looking to compete in the phablet market as well. These rumours certainly caused an excitement from the consumers. If so, then the smartphone industry will definitely be different in years to come.
