There were already rumors about Egypt being the next location for the next Assassin’s Creed game but since Ubisoft have not made any announcement, people just took the news with a pinch of salt but it looks like the rumors were right all along.
A few images of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Empire was released online confirming the fact that the game will be set in Egypt. The images were leaked by Nibel and so far most of the fans believe that it is the real deal.
While we might know where the game will be set in, the release date is still a mystery. Ubisoft announces this year that they were going to take a break from Assassin’s Creed and everybody assume that they wanted to take a break for a year but it looks like they might be taking a longer break.
Tommy Francois from Ubisoft said in an interview with IGN that he thinks the Alpha for the game needs to be tested for a year before it is release and added that if that means the game will not be arriving in 2017, so be it.
We personally do not mind that they are taking their time with the game. The last few was a huge disappointment and we do think they need to slow down and really work on coming out with a great Assassin’s Creed game.
