Last night a hacker made a name for himself when he demonstrated how the Android Wear platform can be paired to an iOS. While development might still be in its early stages, there is a strong certainty for Android wearables to mate with the iPhones in the near future.
In other words, iPhone users will be able to pair their device with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Gear Watch, LG G Watch, LG Urbane, Sony Smartwatch and a lot more. At this rate, things are not looking so well for the Apple Watch that is due to arrive much later this year.
If the hacker manages to stabilize the pairing by next month, then iPhone users can skip the wait and run straight and purchase any of the aforementioned smartwatches. Also, the fact that the Apple Watch is very expensive can result to more iPhone users turning to Android Wearable.
Despite the strong threat to the sales of the Apple Watch, Apple is composed on the matter and don’t intend to release their first ever wearable prematurely.
