The Apple MacBook Pro is going to get refreshed with newer models later this year and there is a chance for the upcoming laptops to be revolutionary. This is possible as the future MacBook Pro might feature Intel’s next-gen nanochips, Skylake.
Intel had just announced that Skylake is in its final stages of development and it could be ready for production as early as late June. If that is to happen, then the 14nm nanochips might just arrive in time to feature in the next-gen MacBook Pro.
This can only mean well for the future MacBook Pro users as they will get first-hand experience of the ultra-fast processors and also a more energy savvy laptop. The MacBook Pro are expected to step into production in early July.
When Skylake gets released, it will be looking to replace the 20nm nanochips Broadwell. The arrival of Skylake will make Intel the second tech firm in the world, behind Samsung, to offer 14nm nanochips.
