Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and Motorola’s DROID Razr Maxx are among the top Android devices of the moment – so which is best of the pair?
The Galaxy S4 comes on AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, Sprint and US cellular, while the DROID is only available on Verizon.
The DROID runs on Ice Cream Sandwich whereas the Galaxy S4 is on KitKat 4.4. The pair both have Super AMOLED screens, but the Galaxy S4 has a 4.99” display with 441ppi and the DROID has 4.7” with 312ppi.
The Galaxy S4 has an octa-core 1.6GHz chip with a 2,600mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The DROID is stuck on a dual-core 1.5GHz chip with 1,024MB of RAM. It’s got an 8MP rear camera and a 1.5MP front camera. It does win on battery, though, as it has 3,300mAh.
The Motorola seems a bit old-fashioned now, especially on its OS, however, it gives more battery life and is cheaper. Still, you can’t halt progress and the fact that the Galaxy S4 is newer makes it better.
