Last November saw the release of the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and like its name, the latest mobile OS from Google is something really sweet. The Lollipop is packed with tons of goodness like a spectacular new design and plenty of new functions to aid the users.
Today, we are not going to cheer for the Android 5.0 Lollipop and instead, are going to uncover the flaws with the OS. After all, no system is free of issues and the Android 5.0 Lollipop is no different.
Our findings started off with the Wi-Fi bug. We tested out the Nexus 5 and experienced a tough time in connecting to a Wi-Fi router. The device simply failed to connect in most occasions. Then there is the issue with battery life. Apparently, whenever the Nexus 5 is connected to a Wi-Fi, the apps will be running tons of processes in the background, thus, draining battery life rapidly.
Over with the Nexus 7, the tablet experienced a hard time in playing videos. It seems that every video playback is deemed unsupported by the tablet and even if it gets played, the video will stutter to the frustration of the users.
On a final note, Nexus devices with the flashlight feature tend to crash whenever the function is activated. In other words, the device will force restart on its own after a couple of seconds upon activating the flashlight.
Of course, every issue with the Lollipop is software related and it can be fixed through an update. Google is aware of the issues with their latest OS and promises to send out the necessary fixing in a matter of weeks from now.
