A working ROM for the Android 4.4 KitKat will soon be available after the team of developers known as CyanogenMod updated us on the progress for the Cyanogen Mod 11.
According to AndroidAuthority , the team revealed that many features from the Android 4.3 Jellybean has successfully made the jump although quite a handful of other features failed.
CyanogenMod is looking to fix this first before we can begin to see the ROM being rolled out. Notable features like the Phone app, Lockscreen and Trebuchet which have failed to be brought over will take a little time to be fixed.
Other website has already released the ROM for the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4 and 7, the HTC One and the Xperia Z although they are still not official.
It is best you avoid taking the custom ROM and prevent the risk of damaging the device. We won’t be held responsible. We will return with more updates on the progress of the Cyanogen Mod 11.
