The Android 4.4.2 KitKat is undeniably great but there are some issue that needs to be addressed. Users have been complaining on how the OS has been sucking in their device’s battery. Google is aware of it and so commenced the 4.4.3 update.
Now, this newer KitKat is ready for launch with the Nexus 7 and the Nexus 5, being the first to receive the Android 4.4.3. Like how the original 4.4 KitKat was, there is a long list of devices that are in contention for the update.
Motorola came out first by revealing that the 4.4.3 KitKat will be coming to the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E this week. As a matter of fact, T-Mobile Moto X users can already enjoy the update now.
Similarly, Google Play Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One M7 and One M8 are also getting the update at this very moment.
Once all of the major devices are done, things are expected to slow down as phone manufacturers and carriers plot the update for their respective devices.
