Amplify: Best Battery Saving App Ever

Most Android smartphones today are completed with their own exclusive power saving program. Even so, it does not mean that third-party battery managing apps are bad. For me, I personally like how Amplify is able to keep my smartphone lasting for days.

The app is basically available on the Play Store but unfortunately, it requires a rooted device. In my case, I’m using a Google Nexus 5 smartphone and it has the worst standard battery life compared to every other flagship device in the market.

Then again, thanks to Amplify, I was able to double the battery life of my device! Heck, there are times where my Nexus 5 still has 70% of battery left after one day of average usage. The best part is that Amplify is also compatible with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Amplify only requires 2.43MB of free space and the standard app gives users control on the worst battery hogs: NlpWakelock, NlpCollectorWakeLock, ALARM_WAKEUP_LOCATOR, and ALARM_WAKE_ACTIVITY_DETECTION. It is free to download but comes with In-App purchases.
