The Jeep Wrangler have been getting all the attention so far but it looks like thing might start to change soon. There were already rumors about Ford looking to build the Ford Bronco SUV and now, new reports are suggesting that GMC might also be working on an off-road SUV to compete with the Jeep Wrangler.
It is believed that the off-road SUV by General Motor will be based on the GMC Canyon truck that they are offering right now. The SUV will be coming in with a body on frame design and is design to compete with the Wrangler.
It was also reported that the off-road SUV is in its early stages of development right now and that it will be a few years before we will actually start seeing it. It has been estimated that the GMC Canyon based off-road SUV will be arriving as a 2020 model.
