It looks like we will be seeing an even smaller FCEV model coming from Toyota in the near future as new reports are now suggesting that Toyota might be working on a new Toyota Mirai model.
According to Asahi Shimbun, the new Toyota Mirai model will be smaller than the standard Mirai and will also come running on the hydrogen fuel cell. No names were mentioned but some believe that it could be called the Toyota Mirai C like what they did with the smaller version of the Prius.
Not only will the new hydrogen-powered model come with a smaller body but it should also come with a smaller price tag. It is estimated that the smaller Toyota Mirai could come with a $32,000 price tag and that we might actually see the new and smaller model in 2019.
There were already talks about Toyota looking to expand their Mirai family but nobody was expecting to one so soon.
