We knew that the Volvo XC40 design was going to look like the Volvo XV90 but the initial concept suggested that it will not look too similar. Well, the concept misleads us because the latest spy shots showed us an XC40 that looks almost like the XC90 only smaller.
the grille, windshield, shape and taillights all matches what the Volvo XC90 has to offer last year. The vehicle was still heavily covered in tarps but we are already expecting to see a mini XC90 under all those tarps so don’t expect to see a surprise on the way.
The new 2018 Volvo XC40 will be coming in with the new CMA modular architecture. The vehicle will be offering in China first before heading to a few other markets next year. We can expect to see a sedan and hatchback version of the vehicle in the future as well.
