We still do not know what Subaru has planned for the BRZ right now but it is reported that Subaru will be working on a new BRZ that will be coming with a new design. Subaru is also interested in expanding their STi line up and some people believe that the BRZ will be one of the models that will be getting the STi badge.
It is believed that the new Subaru BRZ will be getting its new design from the Subaru Impreza which means that Subaru BRZ STi could be getting its design from the Subaru WRX STi model as well.
Of course, Subaru has not made any announcement yet but the fans would be happy if things turned out that way. Some people were hoping that the BRZ would come with a turbocharged engine in the near future but according to Subaru, there is almost no chance that would be happening for the BRZ due to the intercooler, turbo incompatibilities and crash test.
