It does feel like the performance car fans are slowly moving from sedans to hatchback performance model like the Subaru WRX STi are at the risk of getting left behind just because they don’t come with a hatchback option.
While Subaru has never indicated that they plan to offer a hatchback version of the Subaru WRX STi anytime soon, their fans seem to believe that they should. If Subaru does come out with a hatchback version of the WRX STi, the hot hatch will go up against models like the Golf R, Ford Focus RS and more.
The Subaru WRX STi sales have been going down mainly because of the unimpressive upgrades that Subaru have ben offering this last few year. Will the arrival of the hatchback model help bring the sales number back up or do you think going hatchback is the worst thing Subaru could do?
