With what the Subaru WRX STi has to offer now, they won’t be able to stop the Ford Focus RS from overtaking them but things could look a little better when the 2018 Subaru WRX STi arrives.
It is believed that Subaru will finally be giving the Subaru WRX STi an exterior upgrade for 2018. The WRX STi is in need of an exterior upgrade and we are glad that it is finally going to happen. It has been reported that the exterior design is not the only major upgrade the Subaru WRX STi is going to get.
The fans were not too happy with the performance of the Subaru WRX STi now and it is said that Subaru might be doing something about it on the 2018 model. There were reports suggesting that the 2018 model might come running on a 2.0-liter turbo engine that will be delivering about 323hp.
That will still be less than what the Ford Focus RS is offering right now but it is still an improvement from the current model.
