The Porsche Macan is enjoying all the attention right now but they might have to share their spotlight soon as new report suggest that Land Rover might be working on a Macan rival.
According to Autocar, it is believed that Land Rover is working on a new crossover that will be sitting in between the Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. The new crossover called the Velar will be coming in to compete with models like the Porsche Macan.
Autocar also added that the Range Rover Sport Coupe that the spies spotted a few months ago could actually be the rumored Velar right now. It is believed that it will be riding on the F-Pace platform and that it could be powered by the same V6 and inline 4 engine as well.
Of course, we do not know if this rumor is true or not so take it with a pinch of salt for now.
