It looks like the wheels have turned. The previous Porsche Macan was design based on the Porsche Cayenne and now, it is the Cayenne’s turn to take some inspiration from the Porsche Macan.
The Porsche Cayenne is in need of an upgrade and spies have already started spotting the Cayenne getting tested out in the open. The vehicle was covered in camo stickers and tarp but based on what we can make out, it looks like the Porsche Cayenne will be coming in with a new design based on the Macan.
In fact, the Macan is not their only inspiration. Some people can also make out the Panamera Sports Turismo in the test model.
Although they are looking at their sibling for design inspiration, the Porsche Cayenne will be looking at the Audi Q7 when it comes to the platform. The upgraded model will be coming in with the MLB platform which should help reduce the weight of the vehicle by 340hp to 440hp.
There were also talk about a possible diesel and hybrid engine option.
